Event Category: Walnut Poetry Series

The Walnut Poetry Series features a rotating cast of local authors and poets as they read original works (and a few favorites), hosted by David Murdock. Special guests have included the Alabama Poet Laureate, Sue Brannan Walker, for a special reading as well as a creative writing workshop. Admission is free and open to the public with refreshments provided by Cothran’s Bakery.

The Walnut Poetry series will host a poetry reading and book signing with poet Irene Latham on Thursday, August 9, at 7 PM at Walnut Gallery with a reception immediately following.
