Walnut Gallery presents an installation by Dennis Sears: “Requiem”
“Family Patterns” is the latest art installation at Walnut Gallery to feature an unusual material: printed, adhesive vinyl commonly referred to by its brand name, “Fat Head”. For artist Lisa Michitti, mixed media and vinyl installations are a specialty.
Walnut Gallery features a collection of fine art photography from three internationally celebrated photographers. The work of David Cummings, Donald Stewart, and Cesar Fernandez will be the featured exhibition for the 2012 Walnut Gala.
A one-night exhibition of student work
Walnut Gallery will host an exhibit by sculptor Deedee Morrison. Her luminous public sculptures can be seen throughout the United States, including Florida, Louisiana, Colorado, and Michigan.
Walnut Gallery continues the 2012 exhibition season with an exhibition by Gadsden artist Alan Curtis, Jr. entitled “u r here” running August 23 to September 21. An opening reception and gallery talk will be held Thursday, August 23, from 7 to 9 pm. Admission is free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated.
(Above: “Monsieur Mustach” by Megan Gulland) The Walnut Gallery presents a new exhibition, Mug Extravaganza!, which celebrates contemporary interpretations of the mug as a drinking vessel. The show runs from October 5 – November 16, 2012 with an opening reception, Friday evening, October 5th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The mugs will be for sale.
Walnut Gallery unveils its latest exhibition, “Paintings and Drawings” by artist Carter Osterbind. The exhibition opens on First Friday, December 7 at 7 PM and will remain on display until January 25. The artist will be on-hand for an opening reception and gallery talk from 7 to 9 pm at Walnut Gallery in Downtown Gadsden.
